1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the temporary rental of hotel rooms for accommodation, as well as for all other related services and deliveries from the hotel.

Deviating or supplementary conditions of the guest do not apply unless the hotel expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Conclusion of Contract

The accommodation contract is concluded by the hotel's acceptance of the guest's booking request. Acceptance can occur in writing, verbally, by phone, or through electronic booking systems.

By completing the booking, the guest acknowledges these GTC as binding.

3. Prices and Services

All prices are quoted per room and night, including the applicable statutory value-added tax and the expressly agreed-upon services.

Obvious errors are reserved.

4. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, the total amount is due for payment immediately after the booking is completed.

The hotel is entitled to request a reasonable advance payment or security deposit.

Payments are considered completed only once they have been irrevocably credited to the hotel's account.

5. Default of Payment

If the guest falls into default of payment, the hotel is entitled to charge statutory default interest as well as reasonable reminder costs.

If payment is not made despite a reminder, the hotel can withdraw from the contract and demand compensation for damages.

6. Cancellation Policy

Flexible Rate

Free cancellation is possible up to one day before arrival at 6:00 PM.
After that and in case of no-show, 100% of the total price will be charged.

Saver Rate

Non-cancellable and non-changeable.
In case of cancellation or no-show, the total booking amount is due.

The decisive factor is the time the cancellation is received by the hotel.

A voluntary goodwill regulation does not create any legal claim.

7. Arrival and Departure

Check-in from 2:30 PM.
Check-out until 12:00 PM.

Earlier arrival or later departure is only possible subject to availability and for an additional fee.

8. Arrival / Transportation Links

The guest is responsible for their own arrival.

Limitations or failures of road, bridge, train, or other transportation links – in particular, closures of the Rügen Bridge or the Rügendamm, traffic jams, accidents, weather events, strikes, or official measures – do not justify a claim for free cancellation or reduction, provided the hotel is operational and generally accessible.

If arrival is not possible due to official orders or objective complete impossibility for all guests, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract. Payments already made will be refunded. Further claims do not exist.

9. Room Usage

The maximum occupancy depends on the booked room category.

Smoking, subletting, and commercial use of the rooms are prohibited.

Extra beds are available for a fee, subject to availability.

10. Smoking Ban

There is an absolute smoking ban in all indoor areas of the hotel.

In case of violation, a cleaning fee of at least €250.00 is charged, unless higher damage is proven.

Further compensation claims are reserved.

11. Pets

Pets are only permitted with prior consent.

A fee is charged per pet per night.

The guest is liable for all damages caused by the pet.

12. Extraordinary Dirt

In the case of extraordinary dirt of the rooms or facilities, the hotel is entitled to charge a reasonable special cleaning fee.

The guest retains the right to prove a lesser damage.

13. Technical Facilities

The hotel partially uses digital systems (e.g., online check-in, electronic door systems, WLAN).

In the event of temporary technical disruptions, the hotel will offer a reasonable alternative solution.

Legal rights of reduction remain unaffected.

14. Notification of Defects

Any defects must be reported immediately during the stay.

If the guest culpably fails to report the defects, claims for reduction are excluded, provided no intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty is attributable to the hotel.

15. House Rules

The hotel is entitled to terminate the contract without notice if the guest persistently disturbs the hotel operation or violates these GTC.

In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund.

16. Lost Keys

In case of loss of a room key, a reasonable fee will be charged.

Further costs, especially in the case of replacement of the locking system, are reserved.

17. Parking and Bicycle Parking Spaces

If the hotel provides parking spaces for motor vehicles or parking options for bicycles, this is done solely as a courtesy.

No storage contract is established as a result.

The hotel does not assume any supervision or special security for parked vehicles or bicycles.

Use is at your own risk.

The hotel is liable for damage, theft, or loss only in cases of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the hotel or its agents.

No liability is assumed for items inside the vehicle or on the bicycle unless the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

Legal liability provisions remain unaffected.

18. Liability of the Hotel

The hotel is unconditionally liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.

For other damages, the hotel is liable in cases of intent and gross negligence.

In case of slightly negligent violation of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), the hotel is liable limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.

Further liability is excluded.

19. Force Majeure

In case of force majeure or other circumstances not attributable to the hotel that significantly hinder or make contract fulfillment impossible, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract.

Payments already made will be refunded.

Further claims do not exist.

20. Data Protection

Personal data will only be processed in accordance with statutory provisions, particularly the GDPR.

21. Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

The place of jurisdiction is – as far as legally permissible – the location of the hotel.

22. Final Provisions (Severability Clause)

Should any provision of these GTC be wholly or partially ineffective or unenforceable, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The statutory regulations shall take the place of the ineffective provision.
